GERALD & DENISE
MONTPETIT
Gerald and Denise grew up on
neighbouring acreages in Alberta, and
recently reached a milestone of 29 years of marriage. It has been quite the ride as
they have 5 children, and have
travelled over 213,000 kms in an RV together as a family, performing concerts in almost every state and province across North America.
Gerald and Denise are the founders and directors of Cat.Chat Productions, a growing Catholic ministry for kids and families since 2000. They are passionate about helping couples rediscover joy in their marriage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do we have to stay at the conference hotel? Or can we stay at home and commute?
We highly recommend that you take some time away as a couple to BREATHE, relax and enjoy the Marriage Conference by staying overnight. If you are not able due to certain circumstances, then do your best to get the most of your time together by minimizing distractions. Be intentional by clearing your schedule, avoid checking emails, find someone to help you with your children, etc. This is a special time for you and your spouse to focus on each other and your relationship.
Will childcare be provided?
We are unable to provide childcare during the conference. We ask that children not be brought to the conference as this is intended to be a special time away for couples to focus on each other. Nursing infants are welcome. We will be recording and filming the speakers at this event; therefore we ask that crying infants be taken out of the conference room. There are many areas in the suited for nursing moms.
What is the “date night” on the Conference schedule?
The conference ends at 5pm on Saturday. Saturday evening is designated as a “date night”. We recommend that you and your spouse take some time to unpack the conference by going for a special dinner and a fun evening out.
What will the sessions include?
Talks by the speakers, engaging audio and video clips, and time for short conversations between you and your spouse.
Is it possible to register for only part of the conference? What is the cancellation policy?
We do not offer a discount for partial registrations.
If you are unable to attend due to illness, registration fees will be refundable minus a $50 per couple cancellation fee. If you prefer, we can transfer your cancelled registration fee and apply it to a future Marriage Conference.
