Meet the Speakers
GERALD & DENISE
MONTPETIT
JOHN AND TRACY CONNELLY
Gerald and Denise grew up on
neighbouring acreages in Alberta, and
recently reached a milestone of 28 years of marriage. It has been quite the ride as
they have 5 children, and have
travelled over 213,000 kms in an RV together as a family, performing concerts in almost every state and province across North America. Their TV series airs weekly on EWTN and is seen on Formed.
Gerald and Denise are the founders and directors of Cat.Chat Productions, a growing Catholic ministry for kids and families since 2000. They are passionate about helping couples rediscover joy in their marriage.
John and Tracy Connelly have been married for 25 years and live in Bruno, SK. They have 8 children between the ages of 9 and 25. John has served the Church as a Youth Director, Diocesan Director of Evangelization and Catechesis & as a conference speaker, musician and retreat leader.
Tracy is an experienced & active youth leader who loves seeing young people exposed to the dynamic truths of scripture.
Together they enjoy sharing interactive teaching that people can apply directly to daily life.
FR.MICHAEL
O'CONNOR
Father Michael grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He entered the Legion of Christ in 2005 in Cheshire, Connecticut where he began his studies of religious life before continuing these studies in Ireland, Spain and then Rome. In the Eternal City, he completed his bachelor’s degree in philosophy.
Father Michael studied three more years in Rome and acquired his bachelor’s degree in theology before being ordained a deacon in June of 2016. He then began his work at Clear Water Academy as instructor of formation in August of 2016.
At the beginning of the 2017-18 school year, he became chaplain at Clear Water Academy.

Do we have to stay at the conference hotel? Or can we stay at home and commute?
We highly recommend that you take some time away as a couple to BREATHE, relax and enjoy the Marriage Conference by staying overnight. If you are not able due to certain circumstances, then do your best to get the most of your time together by minimizing distractions. Be intentional by clearing your schedule, avoid checking emails, find someone to help you with your children, etc. This is a special time for you and your spouse to focus on each other and your relationship.

Will childcare be provided?
We are unable to provide childcare during the conference. We ask that children not be brought to the conference as this is intended to be a special time away for couples to focus on each other. Nursing infants are welcome. We will be recording and filming the speakers at this event; therefore we ask that crying infants be taken out of the conference room. A room will be designated for nursing moms.

What is the “date night” on the Conference schedule?
The conference ends at 5pm on Saturday. Saturday evening is designated as a “date night”. We recommend that you and your spouse take some time to unpack the conference by going for a special dinner and a fun evening out.

Is it possible to register for only part of the conference? What is the cancellation policy?
We do not offer a discount for partial registrations.
If you are unable to attend due to illness, registration fees will be refundable minus a $50 per couple cancellation fee. If you prefer, we can transfer your cancelled registration fee and apply it to a future Marriage Conference. Yes, engaged couples are welcome to attend however this conference is geared towards married couples.
